Very unusual green rug.
The green wool is a different texture from the red wool in the airplane. Perhaps the goal was a light sky blue.
Wool: Very good. Dense and strong. | Sheen: Good, no Pantene rinse | Handle: Very stiff and springy.
Selvedge: Integrated field color overcast of one thick cord. | Fringe: Unusual. Three tier lattice end finish gives way to one inch bands of wefts bound together with colors used in the field. The lattice is tighter and less regular than rug 1818 and 1807. | Pile: 4mm pile, dense
