Condition: This is an exemplary example of rugs that sold before warrug.com existed. The pile was thick and dusty. The blue a particular indigo. The teriary motifs are charming, and nicely drawn.
Wool: Dens, thick and soft
Sheen: Good, but underdeveloped
Handle: Stiff side of floppy.
Selvedge: 2 cord of black goal hair
Fringe: 1 inch killim, 1 cord brown of knots, 3 inches of fringe
Pile: 5 millimeters
Warp: Long thick blond wool. This is *the* type of warps in this group of rugs. Most warps are braided and plied after the kilim end as a light closure.
Weft: Two grey cords.
Warp Depression: 45 to 30 degrees
