Overall condition very good. Full pile with some oxidation of the light grey in the top row of tanks with brown lettering longer than grey background. Knot density fair. Good range of color with unusual use of brighter colors, like cherry red and sky blue. Rug is clean. Full pile. Addition of cars in Two Ewer design is unusual.
Wool: Straight fibers, flattened by use. Wool has nice lanolin quality and whites are undyed. Sheen: Moderate to good Handle: Floppy and slightly soft. Selvedge: Braided goat hair overcast. Last row of knots on right show foundation node because of asymmetrical open left knots. 2 inches of selvedge missing on left side bottom.
Fringe: Unusual fringe. No kilim, but one row of braided sumac on top. Fringe is unusual because consists of plied light and dark color wool. Overhand knot closure, one inch fringe, all present. Pile: WoolWarp: Mixed natural and dark brown wool.Weft: Two shoot grey cotton
