General Description: The condition of this new war rug is excellent. The drawing is well done with nice colors throughout,
The alternating pattern of the helicopters and tanks down the center sets off the symmetry with the rifles along the side. An interesting point as well, there are two small fighter planes off the two sides in the very middle of this war rug, with only one facing in the opposite direction of all the other machinery. The colors in the grenades is found throughout the rug with nice repeat of these colors in the bullets found along the border.
Description of wool: The wool is dense and is of above average quality.
Sheen of Wool: The sheen is very nice and will improve over time as the wool oxidizes.
Handle: The handle of this war rug is wonderfully floppy and strong.
Selvedge: The selvedge consists of 2 cord black wool.
Fringe: The minimal fringe on this war rug is I.5 inch red wool kilim w/ blue stripe. It has a nice finish with overhand knots.
Pile Material: The pile is wool and quite dense.
